"I participated in multiple FOIL productions throughout my time at Legacy, and I look back on each of them with so much joy! FOIL brought me community and introduced me to people I wouldn't have met otherwise. It pushed me outside of my comfort zone and helped me learn how to think outside of the box. Now that I’m a little more grown up, I am directing musicals and using many of the skills that I learned throughout my time with FOIL. I am working on helping other kiddos build community and new friendships, I get to pull from the creative influences I’ve worked with in the past to come up with new ideas, and I get to pour into my casts in the way that the FOIL leadership poured into me. I am so proud of what FOIL has become, and I am so excited to see how it will continue to grow!"
